Scottish professional footballer Greg Taylor break silence and expose what was discuss in Celtic dressing room about Scottish Cup final win against Rangers
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Celtic, has talked about pressure and mentality at almost every news conference in the last two months.
For years, one of Celtic’s best qualities has been its ability to deal with demands and show a strong desire to win.
Rodgers confidently expected his team to deliver prizes, especially when compared to the Rangers, who have a history of failing when the pressure is on. It was important to him that we talk about the high stakes that were at stake.
Like that happened again on Saturday, when Adam Idah scored the game-winning goal for Celtic, getting over the line by any means possible.
That’s been a theme for the Bhoys all season, and that’s what they talked about in the locker room at Hampden after beating their enemies.
Greg Taylor says that Celtic’s season came to a proper end.
Greg Taylor said that the team thinks the final was a metaphor of the whole season: it wasn’t always pretty, but in the end, Celtic won.
The left back told the Daily Mail, “We were pretty tired and out of breath, so I’m glad it didn’t go into extra time.” When I saw that it was 83 or 84 minutes left, I thought, “Ooof, my legs are pretty done here.”
“It was hot and tense that day.” We had the chance to beat our biggest foes, win a cup, and make the season more than just winning the league title. We did all of those things.
“Honestly, I thought we had a lot of the ball in the first half but didn’t do much with it.” The field was pretty dry, but it was still a great surface. There weren’t many clear-cut chances in the game, but Adam scores when it mattered most.
“In the locker room, we were talking about how the cup final pretty much summed up the whole season.” Although things haven’t always gone smoothly, our group has a strong, winning attitude, and we’ve always delivered in the big moments.
Leading players like Callum McGregor have also sent strong messages since the win, so it’s clear that Celtic won’t let this latest success get to them.
The club seems very eager to step it up a notch this summer, make some key acquisitions, and improve their play for next season.
The Bhoys are the favorites to win the Scottish title again next season, and that’s because they don’t act like that outside of games; they keep showing it on the field.
