Declan Rice and Francesco Calzona, the head coach of Slovakia, are back at it after a public fight on Sunday.

Soon after England beat Slovakia 2-1 to make it to the quarterfinals of the Euro 2024 tournament, Rice got into an angry argument with Calzona.

As Rice talked to officials after the game, the Italian seemed to push him.

Calzona’s acts made Rice very angry, and the 55-year-old had to be pulled away from him.

When asked about it after the game, Calzona said that the problem was over after Rice apologized.

But now Calzona has brought up the fight again and blamed Rice in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.

He said, “Rice was standing close to the referees, and I wanted to ask why there wasn’t more time given because the English were wasting time.” “He yelled at me, and I yelled back in the same way.”

“He’s a great player, but maybe he shouldn’t have been there watching over the referee.” He could have avoided that, but he told me he was sorry right away.

Before talking about his team’s exciting extra-time win, Rice didn’t talk about the fight that happened after the game.

There’s a fight and energy in us that some Slovakian players said we didn’t have before the game. That we’re in it together, we showed that tonight, Rice said.

“We’d do anything to keep this manager safe and to keep each other safe.”

“We’ll keep going and fighting, and tonight we showed what we’re made of as a group.” We’re going to give it our all because it’s an honor to be a part of it.

When it looked like Slovakia was going to pull off the biggest surprise of the game, they let up late, which is likely what made Calzona angry.

“I’m really upset,” Calzona said at his press conference after the game. “But I’m more proud than sad,” she said. We were very close to beating the best team in the world and moving on. We worked very hard and were almost ahead. We failed to move forward.

“We were in the other team’s half for 30 minutes during extra time.” I’m happy with how we handled it and how well we did.
