The Arsenal’s view on Leeds United’s star player Alongside the transfer news, Illan Meslier disclosed.
Steve Kay of TBR has reported that Arsenal is considering the possibility of acquiring Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier in January.
This report was released in the midst of transfer news. Kay stated on KS1 TV (18 January) that the Gunners may contemplate acquiring a goalkeeper in January, and Meslier could be a candidate, despite his subpar performances this season.
The Frenchman has been predicted to depart in January, and Stade Rennais is also interested in recruiting him. as per Jeunesfooteux.
Kay reiterated that the connections did not originate from one of his preferred sources; however, they are “monitoring” the interest.
Leeds United must capitalize on Illan Meslier. Sunderland and Preston are the only two instances in which Meslier has been responsible for the Whites’ numerous missed points this season.
A firm foundation is essential for Daniel Farke’s team to secure promotion this season.
However, they are currently lacking in this regard due to the shakiness of Meslier in goal, which frequently causes the team in front of him to become unsettled.
The Whites are unlikely to receive a particularly high price for their goalkeeper, as Dan Bardell has indicated that a £10 million sale is probable if the title chasers do decide to cash in.
It is difficult to envision a significant future for Meslier at Elland Road beyond the upcoming months, regardless of whether a January exit occurs. It is a position that requires improvement.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are currently considering their interest in a forward who was previously linked to the club.
