Tonight, Manchester City plays Brentford in the Premier League. If they win, they’ll have a chance to get ahead in the title race. The Blues are third in the table, three points behind winners Liverpool and Arsenal in second place. They will be going to west London.
The teams around City, on the other hand, have two games in hand going into tonight’s game. If City wins at the GTech Community Stadium and gets three points, they will be on top of the table.
Another nice thing for Pep Guardiola is that he has a full-strength team to choose from for the game. Erling Haaland could be in line for his first start since early December after coming off the bench against Burnley last week and doing well. Manu Akanji has also returned from the injury that kept him out for a few weeks.
On the other hand, the home team beat City twice in the league last year and needs points badly because they are just above the relegation zone, so Thomas Frank’s team will be a tough opponent.
