Why Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak told he is ‘bigger and better’ than Arsenal in brutal Newcastle United transfer verdict

Alexander Isak has been told that he is “bigger and better” than Arsenal. This comes as rumours about a possible move to the Emirates Stadium spread.

For several months now, the Gunners have been linked with a move for Isak. They recently lost to Newcastle United 4-0 overall in the Carabao Cup semi-finals. Reports of interest in the Swedish international during the summer never led to a bid being made, and rumours of a move in January died down because of how much it would cost to get him from St. James’ Park.

Along with all of this, Isak has been in great form at the back of the net, scoring 19 goals across all categories as Newcastle tries to win cups and qualify for Europe. Although Arsenal isn’t the only team said to be interested in the 25-year-old, Isak is said to be their top choice to improve their striker position.

Paul Scholes, a former defender for Manchester United, said on the Overlap that he thinks Isak is “bigger and better” than the Gunners and that he should only leave Newcastle United to play for one of the best clubs in Europe: But Scholes said, “I don’t see a chance of him going to Arsenal. Everyone loves him.” “He needs to do more and better.”

“This is about Real Madrid. Liverpool needs a centre forward.” Arsenal might be a choice, but I don’t think they would be the first one on the list.

“I don’t mean that in a bad way, but he’s at Newcastle with a great team, but they won’t win the league. That’s the next step in his career.” I believe going to Arsenal and doing the same thing would be dangerous. Liverpool has a much better chance than Man City or Real Madrid.

“I think he should have bigger goals than Arsenal.” Man United would be interested in him, but with the way things are now… It’s not going to happen.

He went on, “I agree that he takes Arsenal to a new level. He would be great, and he might be able to help you win it all.” I believe he is more and better than that, though.

Newcastle United paid Real Sociedad £63 million to sign Isak in the summer of 2022, which is still the club record for the most money ever spent on a player.

After getting hurt a lot in his first few months on Tyneside, he quickly became the club’s best player. He recently passed Callum Wilson to become Newcastle United’s second-highest Premier League winner of all time, trailing only Alan Shearer.

In a recent piece for BBC Sport that came after an interview with Newcastle’s number 14 player, Isak was called a “assassin” in front of goal, which is not a surprise.

Shearer wrote, “He’s like an assassin in the way he steals chances. But what I really liked about talking to him is that you can tell he is still looking for ways to improve his game at 25.”
