“4 points out of 6” – Brendan Rodgers speaks up and deliver a strong message on how Celtic Fc will till win the league this season ahead of their match with Hibernian
Brendan Rodgers needs to stay calm right now, even though Celtic isn’t playing well and the board is upset that they haven’t been able to make any moves.
But even though Celtic lost important points at Aberdeen on Saturday, they are still on top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Fans are putting up signs to let the board know how they feel, and many of them point to a title race and questions about Brendan Rodgers’ team.
In his pre-game news conference, the man made a subtle dig at that by saying, “There aren’t too many teams around Europe where you will have four points out of six and it’s crisis mode again.”
The Celtic manager who won the Triple Crown has been here before, so he knows how to handle all the pressure.
Indeed, the team’s play and results have not been up to par, but the next game is where they can make things right.
And since the Celtic players had to go to Easter Road, the coach was sure to calm everyone down despite the high level of stress.
Hibernian at Celtic Park
That’s one of the most important things at Celtic, Rodgers said, “whether you are a player or a manager.”
“There are better leagues in Europe.” But when you play for and coach Celtic, it really tests how strong your mind is. Having to deal with pressure, demands, and everything else that comes with it.
“There aren’t many teams in Europe where you have four points out of six and it’s once again a crisis.”
“Whenever it feels like that, I always think that’s what will push things to keep getting better.” As someone who has lived here for a long time, I know how things work around here. My attention is on the team and making sure we can keep getting better.
He asked for better quality in the trade market but didn’t get it. This could happen in the summer or in January.
Even so, he has treated the Celtic board with respect and said nice things about them, even though fans think otherwise.
Of course, the team is at the top because they’ve won the most important games. Now it’s just a matter of going for a real run.
The Bhoys are currently in first place, but they haven’t done anything to start that big winning streak.
With everything added up, it makes the team very dangerous as the season winds down.
