“I want to help this team” – Celtic Fc officially have signed 22 years-old striker Adam Idah before transfer deadline
Striker Adam Idah has been loaned out by Norwich City to Celtic for the remainder of the current campaign.
The Irish forward has scored seven goals in 34 appearances for the Championship club this season.
The 22-year-old has spent his whole professional career with the Canaries, where he has made 115 appearances and contributed 17 goals and 4 assists.
He has 22 appearances for Ireland, scoring three goals in 2023 for his senior squad.
In January, Celtic paid an unknown sum to acquire German winger Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna.
“I can’t even begin to describe what it’s like to be at Celtic; it’s such a massive club with such a rich history,” Idah stated.
I am so excited to finally be here, and everyone I care about is so happy for me. Being here means the world to me since Celtic have the full support of my family and friends back home.
“I want to play games, I want to help this team and the aim for me is to win those two trophies and I want to score a lot of goals for this club.”
Sky Sports will broadcast Saturday’s match between the Scottish Premiership leaders and Aberdeen from Pittodrie. Begin at 1:30 pm.
