Just before the closing weeks of the Premier League season, Roy Keane issued a warning to Erik ten Hag.

According to Roy Keane, Erik ten Hag is under a significant amount of strain as the manager of Manchester United, given the uncertainty surrounding his future.

The Manchester derby is taking place this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium, where United will be playing Man City. With 15 points separating them, Pep Guardiola’s team is in second place in the league, while United is in sixth place.

The future of Ten Hag’s position as United manager has been the subject of numerous rumors throughout this season. After a 2-1 loss to Fulham at Old Trafford, which ended four consecutive victories in the top division, the rumors started to circulate again the previous week.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineous Group became co-owners of United when they completed a 25% buyout of the company a month ago. Keane has provided his opinion on Ten Hag’s future, taking into consideration that the FA Cup is United’s only chance of winning this season.

In an interview with Sky Sports News, he stated, “The manager has a busy few months ahead of him for a number of reasons.”

Both Ten Hag and City are interested in gaining the trust of the new proprietors. A few months from now, we shall see the results.

Even though they were unpredictable and missed a lot of opportunities, the team persevered and came out on top. The fact that they may win the cup while traveling to Nottingham Forest in the week should give them a dose of confidence.

It is without a doubt necessary for United to play well today. They will be defeated by anything at or below that.

In the next months, the manager will be under a great deal of pressure. They have a chance of gaining support from the new ownership if they are successful today.

“I’m sure the new ownership involved will take stock in the summer, and it’s a big few months for the manager.”
