BREAKING: Manchester United reveals Jadon Sancho transfer plans in this summer window

In January, Jadon Sancho went on loan from Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund. His time there is over as pre-season approaches.

Manchester United is waiting for Jadon Sancho to show up for preseason practice on Monday.

Sancho, 24, hasn’t trained with the first team since September, when boss Erik ten Hag kicked him off, and it’s not clear if he will be able to attend next week’s sessions.

United insiders say Sancho is open to moving and is worth around £40 million. In 2021, United paid £72.9m for Sancho.

Ten Hag said he didn’t put Sancho in the team that played Arsenal on September 3 because of how he did in training. Sancho quickly accused Ten Hag of lying in a public post on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

Sancho wouldn’t say sorry for his behavior, so he was sent to the locker room in the academy building at United’s Carrington training center.

Because there were also under-18s on the grounds, the winger had to change for practice in a locked room to keep them safe.

On July 24, United leaves for a three-game pre-season tour of the United States. On July 15, they play Rosenborg in Trondheim in a friendly.

Sancho went back to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January and helped the German team make it to the Champions League final, where Real Madrid beat them 2-0.

Dortmund paid United €7.5 million to get Sancho back on loan, and they want to keep him for next season.

Sancho’s last game for United was August 26, when they beat Nottingham Forest 3-2. Ten Hag wrote that he wasn’t at the Emirates Stadium, so Sancho wrote, “Please don’t believe everything you read.” People will not be able to say things that are completely false. This week in training, I have behaved very well.

“I believe there are additional reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, but I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

A report in June 2021 in the Manchester Evening News said that Sancho’s lackluster performance in training had led to him not playing much for England at the European Championship.
