David de Gea gets blockbuster offer and more Manchester United transfer rumours.
A lucrative offer is made for Manchester United’s David de Gea, and more transfer rumors circulate.Reportedly, Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia are interested in re-entering the sport with former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
De Gea, 33, departed United in June following a twelve-year tenure with the organization, in which he amassed 545 appearances. The goalkeeper was permitted to depart Old Trafford despite winning the Premier League Golden Glove in his final season there due to the club’s decision not to sign the contract extension.
Transfer requests to Real Madrid and Newcastle have fallen through, but it is now rumored that De Gea may be returning to the sport. According to the Daily Mail, negotiations are underway between Al-Shabab and the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper.Al-Shabab are actively pursuing several players, including Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, Seville midfielder Ivan Rakitic, and Newcastle’s Miguel Almiron, in addition to De Gea.
In the Saudi Pro League, Al-Shabab are presently struggling after dismissing former Liverpool star Igor Biscan. According to reports, discussions have reportedly taken place with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who is presently unemployed following his dismissal by AS Roma.
Additionally, Fichajes of Spain reports that Manchester United are monitoring Jan Oblak’s situation with Atletico Madrid. Atletico reportedly would consider proposals for their number one player.
Although the Reds acquired Andre Onana from Inter in the summer to replace David De Gea, rumors have it that they are interested in bringing the Slovakian international to England. United are hopeful that a fee of approximately £38.5 million will convince Atletico to conduct business, according to the report.
