The gloriesOpening the door to an emotive return to Arsenal, Dennis Bergkamp has declared his desire to rejoin the club after a six-year absence.

Bergkamp’s desire to return to coaching has brought about the possibility that his ideal Arsenal reunion is about to materialize.

Following in the footsteps of Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere, and Mikel Arteta, the 54-year-old legend may soon return to his beloved Arsenal.Bergkamp stated to Dutch media: “I am eager to return to the sport of football.

“I do not believe I possess the necessary qualities to be a chief coach, as my level of interest does not motivate me to oversee every aspect.

“I admire those who are capable of doing this, but I would rather play in a position between the youth squad and the first team.”

“I consider player development to be my ideal occupation. Serving as an intermediary between youth-team players and the first eleven was the most suitable responsibility for me.

Four FA Cups and three Premier League championships were achieved by the Dutch superstar during his glorious eleven-year tenure with the Gunners.

Born in Amsterdam, Bergkamp served as the assistant manager of Ajax for six years prior to his dismissal in 2017.

Since then, the 79-cap international has not been involved in the game. However, that may soon change as his former club, the Emirates, which already features a statue in his honor, offers the Dutch Master a new position.
