It has been revealed that a defender for Manchester United has expressed his desire to play for one of his previous clubs at some point in the future. As a result of his effort against Luton Town, Victor Lindelof was recently selected for the BBC team of the week, and his teammate Harry Maguire lauded his performance.

The Swedish defender has displayed signs of vulnerability at various points throughout this somewhat unsatisfactory season for Manchester United; nevertheless, his performance against the Hatters is likely to have provided him with a lift in confidence.

Nevertheless, in spite of this, the defender disclosed, while they were on international duty with Sweden, that he would be interested in moving to one of the clubs that he had previously played for.The admittance of Lindelof

In an interview with FotbolSkanalen, the former defender for SL Benfica has confessed that he would like to return to one of his old teams, specifically Västerås SK, which is a Swedish club.

The United defender, who began his career with the club’s development squad and went on to make forty appearances for the first team across all competitions before joining the Portuguese giants in 2015, described that moment of his life as experiencing “great joy.” He began his career with the club’s youth team.

“I have never played in the Allsvenskan (Swedish league), and it is obvious that it would have been enjoyable to come home and play for a year in the Allsvenskan,” Lindelof said. “It would have been a great experience coming home.”

“We’ll see how the body feels in a few years because I don’t want to come home being half injured and not being able to perform at a good level,” the athlete said. “We’ll see how the body feels in a few years.”

For United, Lindelof made a commitment.

Lindelof, a defender who joined United in 2017, is still interested in staying at Old Trafford in the near future, despite the fact that he has admitted that he is 29 years old.

On the other side, if Erik Ten Hag gets his way and makes Jean-Clair Todibo the starting number one player, the defender’s future may very well be ripped away from him.

In the event that this were to occur over the summer of the following year, the Swedish defender, along with Jonny Evans, would undoubtedly be the most vulnerable.
