Pep Guardiola didn’t want to talk about the controversial call made by the judge during the game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

City and Manchester City played to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday night. A late goal by Dejan Kulusevski kept City from winning all three points.

When the score was 3-3, referee Simon Hooper blew the whistle for a foul after waving play on when City had the lead. This took away a late chance for City.

Fans and players of City didn’t understand why the referee blew his whistle when Jack Grealish was about to get on Haaland’s pass.

City players, including Erling Haaland, were unhappy with the referee’s call after the game. Haaland responded on social media.

Guardiola was asked to talk about what happened during his chat after the game.

“Next question,” the City boss said. I’m not going to say anything about Mikel Arteta.

“It’s hard to look at the picture again because the referee blows the whistle after telling the players to keep playing.” I don’t understand what’s going on here because the whistle went off after the pass.

The manager also said, “It was a good game, that’s the most important thing.” It was a shame. Just like in the Liverpool game, I thought we played exceptionally well today, up against a very good team, boss, and style of play.

“There were a lot of chances we made, we were aggressive, and we were very focused. We still want to be at the top of the table.” It’s too bad. Like life, football sometimes doesn’t give you what you earn.

Gary Neville said on Sky Sports, “Haaland has lost his head.” I think some of that anger comes from having a pretty bad game in front of goal, though.

“In four games, City has given up nine goals.” At the end, that will be a bigger worry than the mistake the ref made when Grealish was through.
