Bergvall rose through the ranks of the esteemed IF Brommapojkarna academy system in Sweden, which has nurtured notable players including Dejan Kulusevski of Tottenham Hotspur, Albin Ekdal, a former midfielder for Juventus, and Viktor Gyokeres, a former striker for Coventry who is currently employed by Sporting CP.

His outstanding performances have garnered the interest of prestigious organizations throughout the continent. Barcelona, Newcastle United, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly all interested in the 17-year-old, according to Fussball News.Additionally, Man United have reportedly “continued to put forth feelers” for the youngster, who will turn 18 the following month.

The Sweden international, who purportedly underwent two trials with the Red Devils at the age of 14, is reportedly impressed with United. And because he is a supporter of the club, he is content to wait for a permanent transfer to Old Trafford. There is no indication that a decision regarding his subsequent transfer is imminent, and there are no indications that it would occur during the winter transfer window.

Bergvall is under contract with Djurgarden until December 2025, and the club is valued at €10 million (£8.5 million) for his services.A childhood ambition

Under the leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, The Red Devils are prepared to unveil a novel transfer policy that emphasizes the acquisition of exceptionally talented young individuals. Bergvall has been recognized as a potential future player, which is consistent with United’s strategic transition towards fostering and cultivating up-and-coming abilities.

However, it has been reported that Manchester United are restricting their transfer activities this month to loan agreements in light of the ongoing takeover process. It is anticipated that permanent player acquisitions will be postponed until the summer.Given the interest shown by other clubs in Bergvall, a pathway to the first team could potentially influence the youngster’s decision regarding which team to join.

Nevertheless, United maintain a substantial edge due to the fact that the adolescent has been an ardent supporter of the club since his youth; therefore, should they formally express interest, they may be favored to secure a deal.
