Nicolas Kuhn has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with Celtic. The Hoops paid £3 million for the Rapid Vienna winger, and he is Brendan Rodgers’ first January signing as Celtic try to keep the league title.

Nicolas Kuhn, a winger from Rapid Vienna, is Celtic’s first player to sign in January. He will be there for five and a half years.

After a good medical in London, the 24-year-old finished his £3 million move to the top team in the Scottish Premiership.

Kuhn made three goals and set up seven others for Rapid this season. As a kid, he played for Ajax and Bayern Munich.

The German player might make his Celtic start on Sunday when they play Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup.

“I’m so happy to be here at last, and I can’t wait.” “I’m thrilled to be a part of Celtic, which is one of the best teams in the world,” he said.

“I really want to do well for this great club, and I want to start working right away. This year we have challenges in the League and the Cup, so I’m really looking forward to what’s to come.”

“At Celtic, the goal is to win every game, so that’s the challenge here.” I’m excited to get started and do my best for our fans.

Brendan Rodgers, the boss of Celtic, said, “We are thrilled to have Nicolas join us.” We think he is an exciting player with a high level of skill and all the right qualities to fit in well with the way we play.

“He fits the description of the player we’re looking for: he wants to attack, has great speed and ideas, can set up and score goals, and has a lot of energy and works hard.”

“He is someone who can play wide on both sides so he brings with him that versatility for us too, and myself and the coaches here really look forward to working with him.”
