Even though Cristiano Ronaldo had a seat right next to the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou fight, he didn’t watch it.

On Friday, Joshua vs. Ngannou took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and many famous people were there.

Some fight fans were upset about Joshua’s shocking knockout win over Ngannou, and former Manchester United and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was there to see it.

Some of the biggest names in sports, like Francesco Totti, Ronaldo, and Francesco Bianchi, were also at the event.

But Ronaldo, the star player for Al Nassr, didn’t show up for the fight, even though he had a seat next to Thai coach Turki Alalshikh.

Reason Why did 39-years-old Cristiano Ronaldo miss Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou even though he was sitting right next to the ring?

Even though he was in the best seat in the house (CR7), the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wasn’t there.

Ronaldo probably didn’t show up because he had to train with Al Nassr on Saturday morning before a very important game.

Plus Joshua vs. Ngannou didn’t begin until 3:30am in their own country.

The club in the Saudi Pro League posted pictures of today’s practice on social media with the message “No days off.”

The 39-year-old seemed to value sleep and training more than being able to watch Joshua vs. Ngannou.

He did, however, go to Turki’s house during fight week and take a picture with Joshua, Ngannou, and Fury.

Ronaldo, who loves fights a lot, went to the “Day of Reckoning” show in December of last year to see Joshua beat Otto Wallin.

Al Nassr plays Al Ain in the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League on Monday. It will be a very important game.

Because they lost last Monday, they are now down to one goal against Al Ain.

When they play Al Ain in the second leg, Al Nassr will try to come back from being down.

They haven’t won a game since February 25, when they tied 4-4 with Al Hazm. Since then, they’ve lost to Al Ain and Al Raed.
