Celtic
“Set back identified” – Celtic Fc weakest point in their formation has been revealed and must be reinforced next transfer window stated Dean Jones
During the winter transfer window, Celtic’s January signings got a lot of bad press, and it’s easy to see why.
Brendan Rodgers made it clear in the months before the January transfer window that he wanted to add quality players to key spots on the Celtic team. However, the signings of Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn did not live up to the expectations of the fans.
Rodgers wants to add four new players. He had two. Also, neither of them were in the one spot where Celtic fans were begging for more help.
For a long time, Celtic fans have thought that their left back was one of their weaken spots. Greg Taylor has done a good job over the last two seasons, but the Scotland defender doesn’t have any good back-ups or competition, which is a worry.
But it looks like Celtic has now made this position a top goal for the summer transfer window. That’s what reporter Dean Jones says.
Jones told GiveMeSport, “If you look at it right now, you’d say that left back will be the top item on the summer shopping list.” But you’re also curious about where Celtic will be at that time.
At the start of January, I thought this job would be about making them stronger so they could keep Rangers from challenging for the title. As of the beginning of February, though, Rangers are back in the running for the crown.
“I think there is still a lot of time for possible transfers to change and for Brendan Rodgers to win everyone over.” There will definitely be some doubts about the recent outcomes.
During January, Celtic was linked to PSG back Layvin Kurzawa, but the player’s salary demands proved to be too much for the club to handle.
With a lot of money, Celtic fans will be hoping that Rodgers gets the player he wants. If the Hoops do win the league this season, they will need a better player than Taylor and Alexandro Bernabei to play in the Champions League again.
