Because of Jadon Sancho, Xabi Alonso and Bayern Leverkusen have a lot more chances to win the Bundesliga.

In honor of Borussia Dortmund’s win over Bayern Munich, Jadon Sancho wrote a happy post on social media. The 24-year-old winger has been in great shape since going on loan from Manchester United in January. He was a key player for Edin Terzic’s team at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.

In the first ten minutes, Karim Adeyemi scored to put Dortmund ahead. Not long after that, Harry Kane missed a great chance by hitting the ball wide from only six yards out.

The Bayern defenders had a hard time keeping up with Sancho for most of the game because he was so confident, which was something Erik ten Hag had trouble doing at Old Trafford. Then, in the last few minutes, Julian Ryerson scored a great goal across the face of the goal, beating Sven Ulreich at his far post to double the Black Devils’ lead.

Sancho wrote a post on Instagram after the game to celebrate Dortmund’s first Bundesliga win over Bayern since 2018. The star player on loan from Manchester United only wrote, “Strong team performance [fire emoji]!”

His post had over 350,000 likes and many comments by Sunday lunchtime. People like Noni Madueke, Emer Can, and Shea Lacey all sent words to England from around the world. Kane’s chances of winning the Bundesliga were pretty much over after Dortmund beat Bayern.

Bayern Munich has won the German Bundesliga for 11 years, but Bayer Leverkusen only needs three wins to end that streak. This is ironic since the former Tottenham Hotspur star just joined the team. Thomas Tuchel told reporters after the game that he had lost the title race.

“Of course, it’s over,” the former Chelsea manager told Sky Sports. “We don’t need to count points anymore after today’s game.” How many are there now? Best of luck to Leverkusen!

“We’re really upset because we didn’t think we played with enough passion to win the game.” When it came to the basics, we didn’t do enough.

The Dortmund manager then turned his attention to next weekend’s game against Stuttgart, which is becoming more important as the race for a spot in the Champions League heats up. Terzic said, “We’re thrilled and very happy with the performance.” It was a well-earned win.

“That’s a good start. We were able to win the game thanks to some great play. We worked hard to get the lucky offside call in the 90th minute. The first step is to keep a clean sheet here.

“That’s five wins in a row.” The interesting games of the season are now starting. We dressed like we were in the Champions League today. Next weekend, we have VfB Stuttgart, which will be another tough game.
