Today is another big test for Manchester City as they try to keep the Premier League title. They are facing Chelsea. City is tied for first place with Liverpool and Arsenal, both of which play today. Pep Guardiola’s team will know by the start of the game what a win will mean for them in the results.
There are 12 straight wins in all events for City if they win today. That would be their seventh straight Championship win. It’s been a bad season for Chelsea, but they’re still a dangerous team when they’re on their game, as the 4–4 draw with City at Stamford Bridge earlier this season shows.
Guardiola is worried about some injuries. Jack Grealish and Josko Gvardiol are definitely not playing today, and Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic, and Sergio Gomez’s fitness is still up in the air.
The game is set to start at 5:30pm at the Etihad Stadium.
