After losing more points to Kilmarnock this afternoon, Celtic fans are going home to think about how Brendan Rodgers is going to fix the team’s terrible defense of the title this season.

With the draw against Kilmarnock, Celtic has lost nine points at home this season. Rodgers will now have to try to get his team ready for next Sunday’s game at Motherwell, which is away.

The Celtic boss responded to yet another disappointing result in a season that is now starting to fall apart. The fans showed their displeasure with a chorus of boos at the end of the game.

A lot of Celtic fans booed at the end of the game. When asked what he wanted to say to them, Rodgers told BBC Radio Scotland, “There’s still a long way to go.”

“And I’m sure it will back and forth until the very last game.” I’ve said before that there would be no parade.

“We’re there to fight for every title.” I completely understand how the fans felt; even if the score had been 1-0, they wouldn’t have been happy with how the team played.

“In that case, I can see how we could draw the game. After last week’s upsetting loss, all I can say is that we’ll do everything we can to get the team in better shape for next week.

“All we have to do is stay with the team and get the great help they always give us.”

Celtic is in trouble

In December, Celtic lost two games in a row to Hearts and Kilmarnock. After that, they won six straight games before losing at Pittodrie.

However, the play in those wins has been very poor, even though many would say that’s not a bad run of results.

Hibs put up a fight at Easter Road, but Celtic won with two penalties. At Celtic Park in January, Alistair Johnston scored the only goal in the first minute, which was enough to beat a tough Ross County team.

This team’s failure to finish off their opponents has cost them, and today will be a very important day in the race for the title.

This team, led by Brendan Rodgers, doesn’t seem like it has what it takes to get results when they count. This will worry Celtic fans.

During the course of this season, Celtic have tied four times with teams that are suffering at the bottom of the table.

This team doesn’t have any cutting edge, which is scary. If Rodgers doesn’t find an answer quickly, it will cost Celtic the title.
