The title winner will be announced this morning by Chris Sutton, as Celtic get ready to play Kilmarnock.

Since the club is getting a lot of bad press right now and Brendan Rodgers shut down a Celtic “narrative,” you could be blamed for thinking that the league title was over and that Celtic would end the season without any trophies.

Rodgers’ team is still in the quarterfinals of the Scottish Cup and on top of the Scottish Premiership.

Even though cup games can go either way, Sutton has picked the team that he thinks will be the best in the league when the season ends in May.

“I know the past doesn’t matter in some ways,” Sutton told the Daily Record. “But I feel that it does in other ways.”

When the Rangers came up against him, Rodgers was able to face them head-on and win the league title.

It will be hard to beat Clement, but the Celtic manager has been there and done that before. And even though the Belgian has made Rangers better, I don’t think Rodgers won’t do it again at this point.

Even though there are thirteen games left, Celtic are still in first place, though by a very small percentage. Now that they have two more games to play, the heat is back on Rangers, and you wouldn’t bet against Rodgers pulling off another masterstroke in April at Ibrox.

I already said this morning that Celtic still needs some key players to come back to the first team. This can only help us.

Rodgers will be glad that players like Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, and Alistair Johnston are close to returning to the first team before the Glasgow Derby. In the next few weeks, they will play Motherwell, Dundee, and Hearts.
