Ahead of Newcastle, Chelsea provide Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia with an injury update. In advance of their match against Newcastle United, Chelsea issued an injury update; Mauricio Pochettino is scheduled to address the media on Friday afternoon.Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia continue to be listed as injured on Chelsea’s official roster, which was made public prior to Saturday’s journey to Newcastle. The’reconditioning phase’ of rehabilitation is where the Blues duo are described.

Mauricio Pochettino had previously stated that the French forward intended to make his return in the match against the Magpies. Nevertheless, Chelsea’s head coach acknowledged that such an ambition warranted some caution.

He stated prior to the international break, “During our conversation, he informed me, ‘Coach, I want Newcastle to be ready for the return match after the international break.'” Yesterday, in response to my inquiry, he replied, “Hmmmm.” I then stated, “You are a liar.” “I, however, am prepared.”It is getting closer, and he is performing exceptionally well. We are overjoyed with his recovery and find him to be an exceptionally proficient individual. Romeo Lavia is nearby as well. They engaged in pitch training today. I look forward to being involved with the crew the following week. “Continuously assess the time limits for team participation.”The injury roster for the west London side still includes six players. Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, and Carney Chukwuemeka are all sidelinesd, while Lavia and Nkunku are nearing their returns. This week, Fofana began running on the grass for the first time as part of his ongoing rehabilitation.
