Chelsea player tells two new signings that the club would have a ‘Spanish mafia’.
A Chelsea player predicts that the club will be ruled by a “Spanish mafia” to two new signings. Before two new recruits arrived this summer, one Chelsea player divulges that he predicted the club would have a Spanish mafia.
Evidently, the remarks are made in jest by left-back Marc Cucurella, whose wit and lighthearted demeanor are well-known.However, this weekend the Spaniard was interviewed by the Chelsea website, where he was asked about the possibility of Moises Caicedo and Robert Sanchez joining the club this summer. Both players, including Cucurella, were teammates at Brighton, so it was great to see them all reunite at Stamford Bridge this summer and welcome some familiar faces.
Additionally, Caicedo is a native Spanish speaker, allowing all three to effectively communicate within their “Spanish mafia,” as Cucurella calls it!
Additionally, I should mention that a portion, if not all, of the new coaching personnel speaks Spanish.
Marc stated, “I am overjoyed that Sanchez and Caicedo have joined us.” “I informed them that it is a significant club, that they would feel great here, that I am delighted here, and that a Spanish mafia would emerge!”It is more convenient to communicate with the manager in Spanish when it comes to pointing out errors or determining our course of action on the field.
“We are a very close-knit group both on and off the field; I believe that when these relationships are healthy, we will be able to play cohesively on the field.”
